PMT was hired to provide management, supervision, and safety coordination services for the ongoing contract to complete the modernization of the António Arroio Art School, a leading educational facility for arts education in Lisbon.

The aim of the project is to upgrade the functionality, technical aspects, and aesthetics of the school buildings, ensuring better conditions of comfort, safety, and efficiency for students, teachers, and the educational community. PMT's work ensures technical rigor, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and coordination between the various specialties involved in the project.

The work in progress includes interventions in the exterior, with the planting of trees and shrubs at the entrance, surrounding area, and courtyards, as well as architectural refurbishment work, namely exterior and interior painting in various blocks, laying slate and natural stone cladding on facades, installing acoustic ceilings, and assembling furniture.

Regarding technical installations, the contract includes the overhaul and improvement of HVAC systems, the supply and installation of mechanical linings in ducts and heating equipment, the installation of a fire detection system, the overhaul and adaptation of electrical installations, and the installation of interior and exterior blinds. It also includes roof waterproofing, leak repair, and the installation of protective elements such as drip edges.

PMT's supervision ensures the quality control, safety, and compliance of the work carried out, contributing to the enhancement of an iconic school facility and the creation of a safer, more functional, and higher-quality learning environment.
